A Week of Kerry Sunshine

The amazing sunshine of the last week is rare in Kerry. Add extremely calm seas to the mix and it makes for fun times in astounding scenery. Here is a taste of what you can get up to in the Kingdom.

There may be no water in the rivers but there is still plenty to do out on the water! This unusually calm weather opens up the spectacular southwest coast for lots of activities like coasteering for instance. This emerging sport is great fun for cooling down on a hot day, not to mention exploring and seeing the coast from a different perspective.

An evening trip out around Fenit Island near Tralee for sunset is hard to beat. With the sun going down out past the Dingle peninsula and little more than sea and mountains as your view where else would you rather be!?!

Another amazing trip this week was out to the cliffs of north Kerry. The calm waters allowed for an uncommon exploration of the labyrinth of caves and passages. This remarkable coastline has breath-taking views of cliffs, caves, beaches, sea stacks and arches.
